A case of Sporotrichosis in a Child

Abstract
|
|
|
A case of sporotrichosis which is known to affect mainly adult are found in a 6 years old boy who is usually fond of playing with soil.
Sporotrichosis schenckii isolated from affected lesion are discussed on the basis of mycological stand point of view and histopathological study and clinical observations reveal characteristic features of the disease.
Included are the therapeutic experiences and review of the literatures.
